“Learning never exhausts the mind”.
Deeply inspired by this Leonardo Da Vinci quote, Suzanne Mau-Asam founded her own learning & development agency – Doors Open – several years ago. She is working as an expert in the field of Learning and Development, qualified coach and trainer.
Suzanne built her extensive vision on professional development while working in the field of HR specialized in training and development in large companies (Shell, NN Group and the Staatsloterij) for over 15 years.
From starters to senior executives, she supports professionals with result-oriented advice, 1-on-1 coaching and training. On a daily basis, she helps them to develop as professionals, to get the best out of themselves using their talents and qualities.
After combining being an entrepreneur and an employee at the same time for over a decade, Suzanne took the leap and became a full time entrepreneur. Her first goal: take her successful learning & development business Doors Open, that she had been running for almost 10 years, to the next level. About 5 months into her entrepreneurship, working many hours from home or from the occasional coffee bar, she started to feel lonely and uninspired.
That’s when she started looking for a coworking space. But none of the spaces she visited felt like the right fit. “So why don’t I start my own one?” She couldn’t get the idea out of her head anymore.
Fast forward. Five months later, on December 1st 2017, she is holding the key to the Javastraat 281 in The Hague in her hands. The Female Hub Coworking & Co-learning was born. This coworking space is focusing on female entrepreneurs to help them reach their full potential by offering desk spaces, masterclasses, coaching and networking events.
