After graduating university with a master degree in “Business Economics” I moved to Berlin to start my own business within the local restaurant scene in 2009. The “East London” Restaurant opened in June 2011 offering modern and traditional British food in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Filling in a niche that no one thought does exist was a risk but also a chance I was willing to take. By now my company employs 10 people from all over the world (Ireland, England, Australia, New Zealand). Six months ago I started to train a General Manager to help me with the the ordering, scheduling shifts and other tasks. A big and important step that provides me a day off per week.
Being an entrepreneur and running a successful business was my dream that came true.
