Erik Boer has been Managing Director at the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE). In this position he is responsible for stimulating and initiating broad co-operation programmes in the field of entrepreneurship education and -outreach.
He holds contacts with entrepreneurs, the city of Amsterdam, and other organisations. ACE is located at the University of Amsterdam and is a joint center of the University of Amsterdam, VU University, and Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
Before 2008, Erik Boer held several positions, such as Director of Communication at VU University Amsterdam as well as positions at Hogeschool Windesheim and Erasmus University in the field of internationalisation, university strategy and education policy.
